Jonathan and Rachel Wilcock serve at the NTM training center in North Cotes, England. They assist mission endeavors in various countries including Colombia and Mexico, mostly teaching and training others and doing consultant work.

Ryan & Dana Powell

Reaching and Teaching

Ryan is a Mobilizer for “Reaching and Teaching” in their Southwest region. Ryan was a missionary in Paris, France for 10 years. His cross-cultural experiences include church planting, church revitalization, campus ministry, teaching English, and international church membership.

Reaching and Teaching is burdened with a particular need. 85% of pastors have no formal theological training. The lack of access to theological education leaves the global church susceptible to false teaching and hinders them from being able to build up the body and equip believers.
Reaching and Teaching exists to close the gap on theological education worldwide. They provide culturally appropriate discipleship and training to church leaders around the world through long-term missionary mobilization, short-term theological training trips, ministry apprenticeships, and strategic church partnerships so that local pastors are well equipped to build healthy churches. They believe that healthy local churches are God’s chosen means for making mature disciples in their communities. When pastors are equipped to teach God’s Word and shepherd their church, the gospel is spread throughout the world.

Biblical Ministries Worldwide

Paul and Kathy are invovled in strengthening churches in places where Christianity is heavily persecuted. Their vital work continues by the grace of God, bearing much fruit to His glory.

Verne & Denny Johnson

New Tribes Missions

Verne and Denny Johnson work among the Palaka people in Ivory Coast. They have experienced the joy of seeing people come to Christ, but they’ve also experienced dark days. They watched their children almost die from malaria. War forced them to evacuate their home and leave the people they loved. But God even used those dark times to bring blessings into their lives, and to open the door for further ministry. They continued to labor in translating the Bible into the Palakan language, and made several short trips back to the Ivory Coast. After serving at the NTM Missionary Training Center in the USA for a time, they have now returned to the field.

Jeff & Adriana Howe

New Tribes Missions

Jeff grew up in Brazil where his parents were missionaries among the Madirra people. God used this upbringing to challenge his heart to continue the work among the Madirra . Adriana was challenged to tribal evangelism after seeing a theatrical presentation called, “Each Stick Had a Name” presented by a group of students from Brazilian New Tribes Bible Institute. God has blessed us with three children: Sheldon, Janelle, and Brayden. We are involved in learning the language and culture of the Culina people, and have also begun chronological Bible teaching with some bi-lingual individuals. Learning the Culina culture and world view is of utmost importance to be able to contrast it with the a Biblical world view when we teach.

Mitch & Baljmaa Tillman

Harbor Evangelism: Mongolia

Mitch and Baljmaa Tillman have been serving in Mongolia for many years, planting churches in Ulaanbaatar and the Gobi Desert. A feeding center in the city dump, the only hospital in the Gobi Desert, a Christian printing press, an orphanage, and the first crisis pregnancy center in all Mongolia are some of the outreach ministries Mitch and Baljmaa lead.

Kris & Mary-Jane Howe

New Tribes Missions

Kris and Mary Jane initially went to the field of Brazil to minister among the Ash people. It was three difficult years ministering in a very isolated area. They were not ready. They moved out of the village to get away and survive. The Lord in His grace gently allowed them to move out and they spent the last 3 years helping out at the New Tribes school for missionary children. In the midst these past three years the Lord has continued to work in their hearts and grow them in many ways. Now, better prepared, both spiritually and mentally, they returned to the field. In the summer of 2016 they moved to Peru to serve among the Ash Most of the Ash live in Peru so they are going to approach the ministry from the Peru side. They are excited to see God work!

Warren & Julie Veal

Mission Aviation Fellowship

Warren works in the Quality Department leading MAF’s Quality
Warren and Julie Veal, with their children, Riley, Julianne, Elyssa, Shelby, and Quinton, are missionaries with Mission Aviation Fellowship serving at MAF headquarters in Nampa, Idaho. Warren works in the Quality Department leading MAF’s Quality Management System. He measures MAF’s aviation operations for compliance with MAF standards and government regulations. His goal is to identify how MAF can improve our aviation ministry so that even more people may be physically and spiritually transformed. Julie keeps the home running well and volunteers in various children’s ministries like Good News Clubs and childcare for ladies’ Bible studies.

Josh & Christy Wohlgemut

WorldVenture

God has been preparing Josh and Christy for this ministry since they were kids. Having both grown up overseas, they saw, firsthand, the physical and spiritual needs of the unreached and underserved people who live far from the amenities and infrastructure of the western world that most of us enjoy.

With a background in accounting and a love for working with his hands, Josh will be busy providing financial and technical assistance to the hospital in Ferkessédougou, Ivory Coast, and nearby missionaries. With Christy’s compassion for the hurting and experience in the medical field, she will be working alongside the staff as a nurse, as well as providing training for future nurses.

Brad & Rebecca Howe

Pioneers USA

Brad and Rebecca Howe served for years with in Brazil with New Tribes Missions. Their outreach has been and still is to the Asheninka people, but the bulk of their tribal group lives just inside the borders of Peru. To be more effective they wanted to move to Peru but NTM did not have a presence there. Pioneers does have teams in Peru so the Howes made the decision, with the blessings of NTM, to make an agency transfer. The Howes went through Pioneers’ candidate process and were accepted in December 2013 and returned to the field in March of 2014.
